文作家不同的写作风格以及他们对散文发展的推动作用，又注重微观分析每一篇经典散文的遣词造句、文体风格与思想内容。本教材分为英国和美国两个部分，包括12个单元的英国散文作家及其作品，6个单元的美国散文作家及其作品。
