Audiobook. 好多次都有点热泪盈眶,为这些聪明勇敢的女孩子。 也很为她们因此被改变的人生感到高兴!

Meanwhile, I'll just point out that I listened to the audiobook, so it was a bit hard for me to comprehend how exactly the codes were broken (展开)

二刷。写法很负责的一本非虚构,不仅叙写了二战时女性密码破译者们的种种经历,还囊括了对密码学的基本知识和当时社会背景的交代。 战时挥洒青春热血,战后一切归于平淡,甚至窘迫,殊不知社会分配价值也得论资排辈。好在人人心里自有一把秤,给得起自己交代,经得住历史评判。

密码破译的进程,战争前线和后方的生活,还有一个个女性的命运如何被时代的波澜改变,都很有意思。和平真的很可贵,能让女性充分自我实现的社会也真的很可贵,两者都来之不易,也比想象中脆弱

由于作者没有按时间顺序写作,这是一本读起来很头疼的历史书,但值得付出努力读下来。在二战和战后为美国情报界做出卓越贡献却被遗忘的女性们,终于有人讲出了她们的故事。
