逐渐在文化上也左转的我已经不太能同意朱特对某些历史研究的趋势的判断,不过他对团结左派的思虑确实是当下政治上最可能的出路。

妙语连珠,令人击节赞叹。你同不同意他的观点都得承认:朱特的思路怎么那么清晰!看完postwar就已经对其思考和涉猎的全面和深度佩服得五体投地。我本人因为知识缺陷,而思考不可得或浆糊一团的一些问题,这本提供了答案,或者指明了一些方向

断断续续读了大半年,因为一些思想史的东西太过专业基本上只能读15%就停下来看看别的书,直到书进入二十世纪后半段讨论的东西相对有所了解,才觉得越来越好看。前言里说,it is a book about the life of the mind, and about the mindful life. 这句话简直像是Tony Judt一生的注脚。

非常精彩。对话体让人欲罢不能,也很容易进入。对于我这样思想史的初学者来说正好梳理了一遍西方二十世纪的思想脉络。缺漏的知识点,不太明白的关联,以后可以慢慢体悟。
