- Ain't No Makin' It

- The Search for a Vanishing Beijing
- M. A. Aldrich / Hong Kong University Press / 2006-11-30 / USD 49.50

- A Visitor for Bear
- Bonny Becker / Candlewick / 2008-2-26 / USD 16.99
- 2012-02-27
- It is one of my favorite children's books read at Hearts Leap this year. It is about a lonely bear who chose to enjoy a life of solitude until he met a tiny cheerful mouse. In an expressive way, they embraced the different "other" and established unlikely friendship. The soft-toned watercolor and ink illustration feels like cool summer breeze ^_^.
- I Ain't Gonna Paint No More!
- Beaumont, Karen/ Catrow, David (ILT) / Harcourt Childrens Books / 20050401 / $ 16.99
- 2012-02-27
- Brilliantly playful and Splashing-ly fun book about a mischievous child who loves colors and painting. The text rhymes beautifully so I read the book several times upon requests of some three year olds at Hearts Leap Preschool. Suitable for all ages.
- My Dad Loves Me
- Richmond, Marianne / $ 8.98
- 2012-02-27
- Good for 1-3 years old. Cute acrylic paintings on canvas.
- Seven Nights

- To embrace writing as a form of living. To embrace fictions and poetry as creative ways of presenting the truth of the world.
