  这本书是历史课要求读的,不然我可能自己不会找到这本书.本书有6篇paper加一个intro和一个speech,主要讨论了eugenics这个问题,和在nazi germany于此相关的医疗,社会,政治问题.每一篇paper对我来说都是一个shock,这个是读学术论文很少有的感觉. 如最后一篇文章最后说的一样, this book is an excellent place to begin thinking about all of these issues. 强推,而且最后一篇文章也提到了当今中国关于eugenics的问题,不过不是很细致.我还在想这个中国eugenics的问题现在有人在研究吗?有出版物吗?

  这本书应该是写给艺术史专业学生看的,不过对于在艺术史写作中遇到的methodolgies这又是一本入门介绍书.要想使用任何一种,都得去读original work.不过我觉得,艺术史本科,这本书一定要看看,浏览浏览也好.
