All Quiet on the Western Front
"Death is not an adventure to those who stand face to face with it." 這本書裡有4.5. 太多值得銘記，是我讀過的對戰爭最深刻的反思之一。如同法國評論家所言, "it should be distributed by the millions and read in every school." 雖然如同Holocaust一樣，戰爭只能為親歷者所真正理解，因為它已經成為他們一部分。
