简直是唐僧写的
has some clever remarks but the author keeps repeating himself with the couple of examples he has. i like the conclusion from my own experience but don't think his argument is so powerful and flawless. He can't draw correlation like that, totally lacking rigor. Wanted to write a book review but ...(0回应)
前面都不错，结尾变成日剧

好，开读这本amazon上买来的1986年出版的二手书，纸黄黄软软的很有意思。在北京去了他建立的南堂和在现今为党校校园的墓，我还是讨厌一切洗脑的企图，包括传教士的努力，但是我想这将是一本有趣的书，将之与古迹联系在一起。

十個詞彙裡的中國
显然是给非中国大陆人看的，概念不错，但口气和笔调起承转和都有点生硬，不如小说流畅有味道，特别 “我再来讲个故事”这种话。有几个词汇写得不错，别的有点牵强。后记写得最好。

Humorous and touching - on a reality that is surreal. one of the best books i have ever read!
特别的叙事结构
先摘抄几句我觉得很棒的句子: “我们都被时间浪费了” “生活不是交换外交照会。恰恰相反，生活是戏剧，生活是行动，行动和激情！” 对于女作家的出现，我一直觉得有点莫明其妙。后来看评论说，此小说的特点在于作者探索了作家和其笔下人物的互动，这样有点道理。不然怎么可能她什么都知道呢，并推动Paul 行动...(0回应)
