A Coney Island of the Mind
Lou Reed也有张Coney island baby，有时候也不明白为啥这么多人歌颂那里，书的封底写着，Coney island不只是个岛，它寓意着现代生活。Lawrence自己也写”the title of this book … expresses the way I felt about these poems when I wrote them – as if they were, taken together, a kind of Coney Island of the mind, a kind of circus of the soul”。书的封面像是站在地安门大街看点亮的钟鼓楼，颇有种一见如故的思乡之情。
