之前讨论时因为准备其他考试，几乎把大部分reading翘过去，现在又自己心甘情愿的拿起来重读。不愧是普利策得奖小说，越是漫不经心的喃喃叙述，越有深藏暗涌的感动，就好像最好的年华总在平实的日子里。

最爱<The Third and Final Continent>,不同于之前几个短篇读后满心的无奈和怅惘,那种生活在异国两种文化裂缝里的漂浮感让人感同,以充满理解和希望的一段做全书结尾,是讲给我们听的吧.但自小以来莫名的敌印情绪让我每每见到书中描写印度习俗就皱眉.题外话是,光看菜名就觉得印度菜是一堆浆糊啊以及作者好美.
