It's a magnificant novel which covered over 60 years of durance - two men's whole life from borne to death; covered almost all the main land of world, including USA,Poland,Britain,Paris,Germany,Russia,Istanbul...even Middle East in it either... Language,culture,societies, histories, family, careers,finance, real estate,politics,and most significant,a series of characters all of which are vivid and well developed. After finish the book in four weeks, I can't be more than agree with Mr. Don Brown that Kane and Abel is "The ultimate novel of sibling rivalry". More than that, I think it's the two talented gentlemen's back-and-forth couple of times of fights all over their life and career make this novel really attractive to reader. 。。。。。 |
