Meditation is seeing clearly whatever is happening in the moment in a very simple way. Another way of saying it is: Meditation is complete internal communication, or life (problem) understood in depth. We must start from where we are, not from where we should be. Real mindfulness meditatioin is all-inclusive, every aspect of our life should be well understood. Meditation is not an exercise of our normal life.
We can easily get bored, which is unberable. It is very difficult for us not to think of anything, therefore we prefer to make us busy and are proud of our "busyness". If we could train our mind(subconscious) to be awake all the time, we would find a new kind of energy. Mindfulness is to connect our conscious and subconscious. Just to see what is happeing at this moment without any motive to improve it.
我们无法控制自己的善念或恶念,因为我们是无我的。禅修的第一步就要把我和我的行为分开。我们通常把自己的行为和自我等同起来,其实那是ego给我们设下的陷阱。只有不掉入那个陷阱,我们才可能保持平静(定)。把自己的行为和自我等同起来,会使我们的杂染更重。以贪婪为例,贪婪能给我们带来快感,关注它,看看它是怎么变的魔术,不要把贪婪看作是自己。
