A little thought about a translation: bust
タンポポ (Stopping the collapse.)
读过 Boy's Life
Bust: 心花怒放or欣喜若狂or喜极而泣Here, the word bust beat me. I tried to check a dictionary but did not get any ideal answer. Then I search online in hope of getting some enlightenment from the slang forum. The result I got all indicated negative meanings. I started to wondering how would the Chinese version of this book chose the word? (I don’t have a copy of the translated novel.) I tried “妈妈说她为我自豪,说她简直欣喜若狂”. But… my translation does agree with mom’s character. Or, shall we use our popular phrases on social medias “开心到爆炸”? “开心到gucci”?
Whoever got a translated copy please enlighten me.
