    不同于其他同类书的是，本书有不少时尚例句，这样的时尚例句非常迎合青年人的口味。仅仅以第六章为例，随便挑挑就有以下这些：

   例句1：I told her I couldn’t have joined in Dating On Saturday by East Shanghai TV. The guy must have looked like me very much. 
我告诉她我不可能参加过上海东方电视台主办的“相约星期六”，那人看上去准是跟我很像。（此处用couldn’t，不用can’t）

   例句2：You mustn’t smoke anywhere in the high-speed train, including the
washrooms. 
 高铁里的任何地方，包括洗手间，都不许吸烟。

   例句3：You oughtn’t to be absent from the lecture on how to heal the globe economic system, it is so knowledgeable. 
你不应该缺席有关恢复全球经济体系的讲座，该讲座极富知识性。
    一般语法书中是读不到上述类似句子的。
