A lot has been written about the ending of the series, inluding blog posts by Mike and me. The positive letters and in-person testimonials we have received have been overwhelming. From the outline written over a year earlier,describing Korra and Asami holding hands and walking together into the portal, all the way to the final animation, there was a lot of discussion on how to handle these final storyboards. They still warm my heart every time I see them.
