"Why is mythology everywhere the same, beneath its varieties of costume?"
The one question that I kept pondering over for years.
Fascinated by this very question (or quest?), I read myths from ancient China, Greece, Japan and Nordic countries; I tried to learn Sanskrit to read Buddhism scripts; I read Freud and Jung; I learned social psychology, personality, and individual differences; I learned behavioral genetics; I learned behavioral decision making; I picked up mindfulness practice...
I was lost on the way. I indulged myself in the feelings, emotions, and visions I got from those stories. They were way more profound than those I got from my reality, perhaps like the comparison of men and women's orgasm. Indeed, I always believe at the moment a man has his prostate orgasm, there is no turning back!
