Finished reading Pacific War by Noboru Kojima, which helps me learn the process of this war in a sketchy way. I think Pacific War, especially the fights for islands happening in the middle and later stage, is one of the most magnificent and cruelest wars in human history. Noboru strictly self-examined the defects in the features of Japanese people, and admitted the crimes of Japanese army, but I don’t think he had a right attitude towards Bataan Death March. In a nutshell, I don’t think this is a very good book, because it doesn’t offer many details. I feel I have learned much more details when playing the game Azur Lane😂. Also, the Chinese translation is terrible. In some paragraphs, the translator even confused Americans and Japanese.
