翻译问题极大，严重不推荐中文版

首先声明：一个星给中文版，英文版本身非常经典

现在的翻译问题极大，这里仅仅以第一章为例列举几个：

1、社会体系（中文第25页）。英文原文是： A social system is defined as a set of interrelated units that are engaged in joint problem solving to accomplish a common goal.

其中“ joint problem solving”被误译为“同样问题”；“a set of interrelated units”被误译为“团体的集合”，难道团体不是一种集合？

2、创新决策类型（中文第30页）

optional innovation-decision被翻译成“个人决策模式”，显然与原文差异太大，但更关键的是，第二种“collective innovation-decisions”中的collective竟然被翻译成“收集”，这里显然应该是“集体”之一。

同时对照原文，“collective innovation-decisions”的原文表述与中文翻译存在大量不一致，读者可以自行比较：

collective innovation-decisions are choices to adopt or reject an innovation that are made by consensus among the members of a system。all units in the system usually must conform to the system‘s decision once it is made.【比较一下中文：意见收集决策模式：有体系中所有成员的意见来决策，一旦决策形成，其成员也将遵守此决策。】

3、案例1-4

第一段第一句（第33页）：Ryan and Gross’s （1943）study of the diffusion of hybrid seed corn in Iowa is the most influential difffusion study of all time,其中的of all time被翻译成“近年来”，显然不对，应该为：有史以来

第三段第一句（第33页）：fresh from被翻译为刚刚开始博士学业（“刚刚开始在哈佛大学的社会学博士研究的时候”，），应该的理解是：刚刚毕业

第35页关于数据处理的一段：“他们的采用率呈S形曲线分布”，“分布”一词原文没有，并且采用（速）率不是随机数字，用分布不合适

相同的一段，最后的部分，“采用者的数量也稳步下降”，原文为：fewer and fewer remained to adop the new idea，这里显然存在改编，并且将尚未采纳者理解成为了采纳者。

4、小结部分（中文37页）

第一段最后一句原文无，或者说属于译者的自行改编，原文是：Information is a difference in matter-energy that affects uncertainty in a situation where a choice exists among a set of alternatives。【比较中译：信息与不确定性能量守恒，即在某条件下，信息越多，不确定性越低】

5、小结部分（中文37页）

关于创新中软件的说明存在关键误译。原文：software，consisting of the knowledge base for the tool。其中的knowledge被翻译为“信息”，但信息与知识显然存在极大的差异。

再次说明：

1、这仅仅是对第一章的不充分举例。

2、以前在阅读英文版的过程中，阅读体验是非常好的，但中文版感觉非常别扭。这种别扭促成了以上不完整的翻译比较，这种比较可以一定程度上解释了为何中文版阅读不畅。

3、上面的原文引用也显示了这本书的英文原文是非常容易读的。同时考虑到该著作在创新扩散领域内的重要价值，再次推荐直接阅读英文版。
