#Future-minded. The book defines the age we are at right now as Anthropocene—the age in which humans acquired planetary-scale technologies—is, coming to an end. A new age—the Novacene, when solar energy is transformed into information—has already begun. Will we disappear? Will there be wars between human and AI? The answers from this book are negative coz we are all limited by this physical world and we must join hands to handle global warming to sustain this Gaia system. But one single virus is scary enough to shake the whole nation from time to time. It reminds us the vulnerability of our kind and we gotta think as a whole.
