翻译存疑
目前只看完第一章《今天，做年轻人：意义与无意义》。翻译有很多不尽人意之处，在这里列出来供大家参考吧。
手边的是2021年2月第3次印刷版，并对照英语版、法语版（本人法语仅刚入门）。
（P7 倒数第1行） “如果你们谈年轻人的话，你们在今天可以拥有的就是女孩和男孩有着同样的基础”
Including girls on the same basis as boys is the least you can do today if you’re speaking about young people, or to them.
这里的意思是：谈论年轻人和跟年轻人交谈，至少要将女孩放在和男孩同样的基础上（来讨论）。即男女平等。
（P9 第13行）“有人从兰波 ...”
Someone who made poetry out of his whole experience of life as it was beginning.
这里“Someone”显然指兰波自己。
（P18 第12行）“他成了一个流变的诗人，他成了殖民地的军火商”
He had been an itinerant poet, and he would become a colonial arms dealer.
试译：他一直是一个漂泊的诗人，而他将成为殖民地的军火商。
（P20 第7行）“过去时代的价值很小，无限地小”
there is less, infinitely less, value placed on old age.
这里的意思是：老年人（old age）的价值比过去小了很多。
（P21 第5行）“虽然他们的血压保持着正常”
taking their blood pressure as they go along.
试译：一边测量他们的血压。
（P22 第5行）“为国捐躯”后面少了半句涉及阿尔及利亚战争的文字：
or even die (I’m talking about 1954–62 – only yesterday, in other words) hunting down the “towelheads” in Algeria, in the Aurès Mountains.
（P23 第1行）“青年不再是以成人礼为掩饰的年轻人与成年人之间社会区分的主体”
being young is no longer subject to the social demarcation between young people and adults in the guise of initiation
试译：年轻不再受制于以成人礼为伪装的年轻人与成年人之间的社会区分。
（P23 第4行）“青年之间没有那么多相同的东西”
youth is a little more homogeneous
la jeunesse est un tout petit peu plus homogène
这里的意思是：青年现在更同质化了。译反了。
（P23 第11行）“成人礼是一把双刃剑。一方面，它使青年臣服于成年人”
the fact that there’s no initiation is a double-edged sword. On the one hand, it subjects the young to a sort of endless adolescence
le fait qu’il n’y ait pas d’initiation est une donnée à double sens. D’une part ça expose les jeunes à une sorte d’adolescence infinie
译反了。试译：没有了成人礼是把双刃剑。一方面，它使青年臣服于无尽的青春期（不成熟）。
（P24 第1行）“我们喜欢的玩具，给其他人带来深刻印象的玩具”
things that we like and that impress other people.
des choses qui nous plaisent et qui en imposent aux autres.
这里不能跟着前文把“东西”译为“玩具”，因为前文的“玩具”显然只是个隐喻，意指的是消费主义意义上的我们购买的东西。
（P24 第9行）“一方面是年轻的成熟”
young people’s adolescence
译反了。试译：一方面是年轻人的不成熟。
（P25 第3行）“过去也害怕年轻人，老年人的智慧是从上一代传递下来的，他们认为自己拥有这种智慧，并控制着它，在此基础上，设定身份和限制”
In the past, there was a fear of youth in the sense that old age, the wisdom passed down from the older generation, was supposed to contain or control it, impose identities and limits on it.
试译：过去也有一种对年轻的恐惧。这种恐惧是在此意义上的：即老人、从祖先传下来的智慧是应该控制青年的，并将身份和限制强加给青年。
（P25 第9行）“以及明显按照程序来处置的对年轻人的恐惧”
and procedures explicitly intended to deal with this fear of youth
试译：以及明显用来应对这种对年轻人的恐惧的程序。
（P25 倒数第5行）“我们社会中有很大一部分青年被视为社会的主要问题”
a very large proportion of the youth in our cities is now regarded as a major problem.
une très large fraction de la jeunesse de nos grandes villes est considérée comme un grave problème.
“社会”应是“城市”。
（P25 倒数第1行）“今天，即便这些问题会爆发得更迟一些，即问题延迟了”
It was then that adult life seemed to begin. Even this occurs much later – is very delayed – nowadays. And what remains is the youth in the housing projects as a disoriented, dangerous class.
试译：今时今日，即便成年生活开始得要晚得多、被延后了许多。
（P27 第9行）“年轻人会说，他们游荡不定... 老年人会说他们为丧失价值付出了代价”
The young people would say they’re fed up with being adrift, disoriented, and endlessly lacking any sign of their positive existence. They’d also say that it’s wrong for the adults to pretend that they’re eternally young. The old folks would say that they’re fed up with paying for their devaluation, for being stripped out of the traditional image of the wise elder, by being put out to pasture, moved into nursing homes where they’re left to die, and with their total lack of social visibility.
试译：年轻人会说，他们受够了游荡不定... 老年人会说他们受够了为丧失价值而买单，为被夺去了睿智长者的传统形象而买单，受够了...
（P28 第2行）“今天的年轻人似乎直接跳过了主流年龄的团体”
young people today seem to need to jump over the dominant age group
la jeunesse semble devoir sauter aujourd’hui par-dessus l’âge dominant
试译：今天的年轻人似乎应该跳过占统治地位的那个年龄层的人。
（P29 第1行）“激进”应该是“仅仅”。打字错误。
“胜利”改为“成功”更贴切。
（P34 倒数第1行）“对于新千年来说”应为“几千年以来”。
Indeed, for millennia, the differences inherent in human life were coded and symbolized in a hierarchical form.
（P35 倒数第3行）“正如一个自由人的孩子完全依从于他的父亲，而一个黑奴可能是一大群孩子的父亲”
just as the son of a free man was wholly dependent on his father, but could have the black father of a huge family as his own personal slave.
试译：正如一个自由人的孩子完全依从于他的父亲，但他可以享有一个黑人大家庭的父亲是他私人的奴隶。（但他拥有的私人奴隶可以是一个黑人大家庭里的父亲。）
（P38 第9行）“即便抛弃了神的朽坏的躯壳”
even though they brandish his dead body
bien qu’ils en agitent le cadavre
agitent 意近“摇晃、挥舞”，这里结合下文也可推知是肯定性用词，绝不是否定性的“抛弃”之意。
（P39 第5行）“最初”改为“首先、主要”更贴切。
（P39 倒数第3行）“主体”应为“主题”。 “感染”改为“影响”更贴切。
It is in the context of this need for an egalitarian symbolization that I can return to the subject of the young, who, along with the elderly, are the first to be affected by the reign of the false contradiction.
（P40 第7行）“永恒的成年”应为“长久的不成熟”。

as a sign pointing to what is to come rather than to what merely is.
comme ce qui fait signe vers ce qui viendra plutôt que vers ce qui est.
试译：作为一个标记，它指向了即将到来的东西，而不是已经存在的东西。
（P41 第10行）“这种你可能做到的启示，远胜于当你为了一种新的集体观念参加一场运动所能想到的东西”
This revelation that you’re capable of much more than you thought you were can also occur when you take part in a movement for a new idea of collective life;
试译：这种“你能做到的事远超你所想”的启示，也会出现在你为了集体生活的新观念、而参加一场运动的时候。
（P43 倒数第3行）“你们的那种主体，永远不可能通过构筑稳固的家园来实现”
The subject that you are can never be realized just by building its house solidly. It also needs to move toward itself.
这里漏译了一句。试译：你们所是的那种主体，不可能仅仅通过构筑稳固的家园来被认识。还需要向着主体本身靠近。
（P44 第3行）“你们所待的家园永远只是一座自愿待在那里的监狱”
A house you stay in forever is just a voluntary prison.
试译：永远停留其中的家园只不过是一座自愿被困其中的监狱。
其他较轻微的不准确之处就不一一列出了。粗略估计的话（并没有逐字逐句核对），中文版还是传达了七成左右的原文原意，因为原文原意本来也算很易懂。
