第一句中说的halfblood就是Percy Jackson.第二句的the world in endless sleep 是指是指睡觉之神把曼哈顿的人用魔法睡着了.the hero在这里指的并不是Percy,而是背叛者Luke Castellan.(这是RR最杰出的一部分,也是惊喜我的情节).但是cursed blade指的并不是别的,而是Annabeth的小刀.A single choice shall end his days, 这里指的是Percy 选择把小刀递给Luke，Luke又用小刀自杀来阻止Kronos占据世界。

这本书里还有一个值得关注的点：在第四本中遇到了Ethan Nakamura是复仇女神之子，因为没有被女神关注变坏。他就向女神兑换了一只眼睛，得知自己将成为一个改变世界的人。本以为是不好的改变，最终发现是他在最后一刻的时候在和Kronos战斗中牺牲，Percy 又劝了众神再也不忽视自己的孩子，最终Ethan的牺牲换来了不是世界毁灭，而是一个美好的未来。
