翻译太糟糕，附上原文和书翻以及机翻

起因是我和朋友觉得这本书的作者说话太绝对，缺乏科普读物的严谨性，于是下载了原文。结果发现错翻不说，还漏翻了很多内容。 原文：（英文版125页） 【as we have seen, Japanese-speaking individuals can spend a lifetime in an English-speaking country without ever being able to distinguish the sound /R/ from the sound /L/, forever confusing "right" with "light," "red" with "led," and "election" with "erection."
