the first passage i write on DOUBAN, for Mrs hunter

   william shakespeare told us that all the world is a stage. i have a much more deep understanding through this only nobel novel in australia.
   the core character mrs hunter has an over-indulged and beautiful youth, married with a rich squatter, who loved her from earnest heart. her material life is very splendid and grand, however, she is never satisfied with the past, present and future. even though she is more than 80 now, she inclines to make up, hold ball and show her pretension over every aspects. she never ceases constituting a world obeying to her and she persue the happiest end, even if she has no idea about it.
   nevertheless such a kind of person can hardly be accepted by the surrounding people, she lost mind echo holders. she insists that you can not fulfill others whenever they ask without costs. it is a tragedy that her son and daughter hate her to an extent that they conceive scheme to kill her and heritate her wealth. out of my expectation, they have sexual relation on the very day on their parent's bed, when their mother leave the real world.
   i can not figure it out how cruel, selfish and falling she can be. the author maped the most dark part of mind people have, mr white let mrs hunter meet the storm on an island.
    she is lucky to go through the strom and experience the eye of the storm. as we all know, the eye of the storm is tranquil, shine colorful light and hundreds of sea birds and mrs hunter can lay on the water, at that time, she feels the peace and calm that she never has. out the storm, she is already able to emancipate herself so compeletly from human emotions it become at times as redemptive as water, as clear as morning light. her soul can be about to leave the anxious body it has worn.
     the most simple thing i can extract from the complex words in the nover is only if we experienced something hurts us, out of our control, only if we met paramount sorrows, only if we lost the most valuable we used to possess can we ponder the life we lead and find the points we absorb happiness and take them as superb treasure we own.
    never be addicted to the meaningless. carry on with balance between material life and spiritual life.
