a little out of date, i'd say. a lot of stuffs in the book are common sense nowadays. and there are tats too strong of his subjectivity. too much latin. you wanna share your idea or what??
it's interesting to learn about the author's perspectives on and preference about photography. but if criticism is indeed subjective, we should all be given our own rights to judge and choose, no?
it's at the same time a sincere and insincere reflection. sincere in the sense that the words were true to his feelings (at least to my perception); in sincere by nature of his arrogance from being a preppy intellectual..
