simple notes
while reading Anderson, it suddenly makes me think of this book I read more than one year ago. I guess that's because of his repeatedly saying of the term "homogenous, empty time".
Giddens said a lot about time, if I remembered it rightly. But the ideas and words in this book are quite cliche in philosophical sense. So is the whole book. I remembered back then, I'm new in the field of political science, therefore it made me quite unconfident in judging books like this which have been recognized as certain "significant ones" in this field.
However, until recently, it seems to me, the book still possesses this "not so good" tag in my mind, and I decide to write this down today. In a even mean way, I think it just copied various philosophers' ideas and somehow put them all together and call this a book.
