 感想：
看的很揪心的一部童话，总是担心人物的命运。看到Louis去酒吧挣钱时，感觉那个中介相当不靠谱，总怕他人财两空。每次其回到动物园时，我又担心钱被看鸟人偷走或是人被扣留为奴。看到其父飞回还钱的时候，又各种担心，以为他会真的死掉。好在结局还是完美的童话结局。或许在现实生活中久了，总是抱着防人之心不可无的心态，难怪很多人愿意活在新闻联播或是童话中。
话说回来，作者E. B. White是享誉世界的散文家，在上世纪曾红极一时，开创了纽约客文风。不同于ROALD DAHL天马星空的想象力与大胆的笔画，他用温情绵绵的文字，自然淳朴的思想，为我们构造一个世外桃源，完美的童话世界，塑造出一个个性格各异的形象，而这些形象无一不在追求生命的意义与命运抗争，如爱好动物的sam最终在动物园找到归宿，我们的主角Louis更不必说，生残志不残，屌丝逆袭，推倒白富美。我最喜欢的是Louis的父亲，一只张狂而有些自大，喜欢长篇大论和吹牛的大天鹅，为Louis不能发声的天生缺陷，不惜牺牲自己珍重的名誉抢劫乐器店，最后又以必死的决心，回去还钱以恢复名誉，不愧伟大的父亲。
在全书的结尾，Louis和家人回到沼泽，已经变为人父的他，看到周遭的景色与儿时并无变化，感慨时间的流逝，接受并感谢这不完美的人生，给自己主宰命运的机会。这片儿时的沼泽，精神上的避难所，或许也是身处喧嚣中的我们所需的。
