《An Ideal Husband》
印象最深的是一句拍马屁的话:有人问MRS CHeveley如何保持的这么年轻漂亮,她说:by making it a rule only to talk to perfectly charming people like yourself. 问话的人高兴的说 you butter me。
More women grown old nowadays through the faithfulness of their admires than through anything else.
We have all feet of clay, women as well as men; but when we men love women, we love them knowing their weaknesses, their follies, their imperfection, love them all the more, it may be for that reason. It is not the perfect, but the imperfect, who have need of love. It is when we are wounded by our own hands, or by the hands of others, that love should come to cure us.
