personally, what i learned is simple:
Act as a confident person would and stand firm behind what you belive is right. Don't surrender to people's stupid ideas and never get pushed around. Or you are going to feel resentful in a long runand accumulates the toxic. Be brave enought to speak your mind and tell your desire. Change the way your act and the environment will change around you.
Dont be a victim. In your nature, you have more empathy and you have a soft heart. But dont let that be your weakness. Be fearless and brave and protect yourself.
In the relationship with others, the close ones especailly, be open and honest with them. Speak your mind and also encourage them to do so too.
In the chaos(storm), you need to to be spiritually confident and rational and in action be decisive and firm.
Know yourself and understand the problem and de determined enough to face it and change it.
