To me, this is a fairy tale that only grownups can understand — because they are peculiar but kids are not. There are quite a lot of metaphors in the story, and my favourite one is the so-called “taming”, or to say, “creating a tie”. At first, you fell in love with a rose, and you thought that she is the only rose in the world; but you didn’t know how to love her, so you left her. As time goes by, you would realise that there are thousands of roses in the world and yours is just an ordinary one. But one day, you will get to know how to create the tie, and how to love her, then your rose will be your own one. To you, she is the unique and extraordinary rose in the world.
Il y a une fleur unique pour vous au monde. There is a unique flower for you in the world.
