葛耀中,原籍辽宁沈阳,1929
年9月生于锦州。电力系统继电
保护和自动化领域的知名教授、
博士研究生指导教师、国际电气
电子工程学会(IEEE)高级会员,
曾任中国电机工程学会理事、常
务理事。
葛耀中1951年毕业于西北
工学院电机系,1955年哈尔滨工
业大学研究生毕业,1958年赴苏
联莫斯科动力学院和里加工学院
深造,于1962年获科学技术副博
士学位,现任西安交通大学教授。葛耀中教授发表论文70余篇,
主要著作有《超高压输电线故障分析与继电保护》,科学出版社出
版(合著)和《高压输电线路高频保护》,水利电力出版社出版,前者
获全国优秀科技图书一等奖。
葛耀中教授的科研成果“分相式电流差动微波保护的研制”、
“远方起动式晶体管相差高频保护装置”、“防止单相重合于永久故
障的判别元件”分别获陕西省高校科技成果一、二等奖,其中第二
项获国家教委优秀成果奖。“电缆故障测距仪”获国家发明四等奖。
“利用故障分量的继电保护理论研究”获国家教委科技进步三等
奖。
数十年来,葛耀中教授一贯坚持教书育人,并长期致力于新型
继电保护与故障测距原理与技术的研究,取得丰硕成果。近年来,
在他指导下研制成功的正序故障分量方向比较式纵联保护、六序
故障分量同杆双回线保护和行波测距装置等均属国内外首创,并
获得国内外同行专家的高度评价。

ongUniversityandheavilyinvolvedinindustrialandconsultancy
workinChina.ProfessorGeistheauthorofover70publications
whichincludepaperspablishedinthepreceedingsofCSEEandTra-
nsactions of IEEE. He has authored and co-authored two books en-
titled Fault Analysis and Protective Relaying for EHVAJHV Tra-
nsmission Lines" published in Science Press, and "Pilot Relaying for
HV Transmission Lines" published in China Water Resources and
Electric Power Press. The former one has awarded the first-class
prize by China Power and Resources Ministry.
His other contributions to science and technology such as
"Segrated Phase Differential Protection using Microwave
Channels","Phase Comparison Relay for HV Transmission Lines",
"Prediction Device for Preventing Single-phase Reclosing on Perm-
anent Fault","Theoretical Study of Power System Protection using
Fault Component" etc, have awarded the prizes of Xi'an Jiaotong
University, Education Committee of Shaanxi Province and the State
Education Committee.
Professor Ge has been working on teaching and research of
Power System Protection and Automation for more than 40 years.
His research interests are in power system protection, fault location
and artificial intelligence.
