听闻已久一直想读的书。在印度的时候去二手书店找这本书，隐约记得书名和枪炮细菌有关，于是问店员，有无一本书叫做“Guns, rose and bacteria”?店员竟然当即指正说，是“Guns Germs and Steel”并马上告知具体位置，极为专业。

略有些翻来覆去讲一样的话的感觉，至少可以砍掉小半本。

Circumstances change, and past primacy is no guarantee of future primacy. 正所谓时势造英雄，英雄亦适时罢。花了一个多月断断续续地读完这本小书，用振聋发聩来形容毫不为过。
