在浙图看的。封底上我第一次看到了这个连自传都不认真写的老头子的照片 比想象中诙谐 长的就是一个gallow comedian。Vonnegut老头子说 man on moon must be using Earth as their lunatic asylum. 他还说 being human is not a treat for an animal. 在浙图的时候我还觉得老愤青是说着幽默 走出浙图半个小时以后 我发现这家伙说的还真他妈的对。
interesting insights and brilliant humor. why didn't i perceive kinda good feeling about kurt's highly skilled language gift when i read its chinese version before? bummer. i like it.

82岁时写就的最后一作。-All great literature are all about what a bummer it is to be a human being. 有些像胡适的容忍与自由, but with a strong kick of capitalism and a lot more rambling about Bush, a little too much. 可以直接拿去做脱口秀底稿。大概是作者上了年纪的关系。让我想起高中时总是微笑、容忍、谈话和幽默的教英语老头。

语言平实易懂，虽然不是完全赞同其中的一些观点（其实有很多不同：比如对新玩意的态度，比如对人群的接纳…），但读完，绝对会大喝一声说句脏话，而赞叹 Vonnegut

Vonnegut和桑塔格一样, 也对布什等充满了蔑视并且不吝抨击美帝国的霸道和强权。写这些文章时他已经八十多岁力道衰微了。朗读者为Norman Dietz，苍老的声音，挺搭凋。此人朗读的马克吐温作品该是值得去找来听听。
