也许这是中篇小说最好的一部。现代主义意识流的开山之作,康拉德是海洋小说最好的代表,黑暗的心表现了文明和愚昧、白人与黑人的战争。圣经总是和枪炮一起传播,人类对自然的罪恶,永远无法洗刷。

毛姆说,读小说如果没有乐趣就失去了所有意义。看了《瓦解》之后回头对照,该书对“黑非洲”的偏见跃然纸上,再扣一星。

终于看了。原来是意识流,一种模糊、流动的液体。这样看《现代启示录》的创作也挺有意思的,后半部分的割裂也情有可原了。
