这书真心写的晦涩么……除了开头我觉得都还好吧……不过什么小说不是开头奇奇怪怪的。结尾虽然有些啰嗦。爱情有时候真的是个很无奈的事，不过相爱但分开……也未必不是一种成全. Ellen一句话印象最深刻 I can't love you unless I give you up. 有时候……难道不是么？

The upper-class life is such a bore!Archer Newland是一枚典型的金牛男，有品位，自命不凡，和正统中的极品女人结婚，内心纠结万分但外表平和，有责任感却也被动。经典桥段让人失望，不过最后一章多少补救了一些。

真的是超爱超爱edith wharton的文字，看完好舍不得他们。疯了似的摘抄啊摘抄，真能写进人心里去。还会再读的。暂时做别。

拖了俩星期，一生病躺床上两天就看完了。茫然无措地跟着Archer孤身走向旅店，每一次压制不住情感每一次好不容易积攒出的勇气都在现实中败下阵来，爱不会战胜什么也不会改变什么，人造的纯真的束缚最后也牢牢禁锢着灵魂。

描写贵族生活的生僻词是真的多，一到描写室内陈设就云里雾里 因为直男所以很容易把自己带入Archer，走向偏红白玫瑰，如果是我大概会选May 很喜欢结局没有上楼的处理，不打扰也好，内心神化也好，逃避也好，反正我是很吃这一套 就在刚刚看完书的时候，看了一部电影《丘奇先生》，里面竟然提到了《纯真年代》。在一部并不是很大众的电影里，提到自己刚刚看完的并不是很为人熟知的书（虽然是普利策） 缘，妙不可言

高中时候看的，当时感觉文笔很好，将纽约上流社会写出来了。另外感觉男主人公很假，一面批判这样的社会一边享受着他背景给他带来的优势。
