反复观看的电影的剧本。虽然电影有英文字幕但不及手里捧着剧本看来得舒服，何况其中还有大量文学, 诗歌，戏剧及历史方面的引用。由于是舞台剧改编的剧本，又是原版人马演出，看电影的时候会觉得耳朵也很享受。书中还包括了Alan Bennett电影拍摄时的日记和一些花絮照片。Take it, feel it, and pass it on.

好久没有一口气读完一部作品了。依然不愧最爱。所有那些复杂微妙的reference连同背后复杂的态度和情绪，仍会令我会心一笑，或一击。最爱始终是Hector，但重读发现Posner也令人动容，尤其是作者给他安排的结尾，还有作者对Hector的遭遇的安排，都体现出作者的态度。他们就是loser啊，唯有把他们写成loser才能体现出作者对于他们强烈的共情与偏爱。诗人即承受苦难之人，承受自己的，也要承受别人的。所有这些美与知识，作者在一开始就借Hector之口讲了，useless，waste of time，多余，无用，与成功南辕北辙，毫无正能量可言。但Life goes on, people are disappointing，无用的文学将带给人慰藉。Pass the pacel.

令人困惑，posner 大学毕业之后找电视主播 irwin 要签名，还非要他签 to david (irwin 还是不肯). 这个安排使得情节又集中在三角关系上……
