本书是赵元任先生的 A Grammar of Spoken Chinese 的译本。原书是供英语读者用的，论述的繁简不一定都合乎中国读者的需要，因此翻译的时候，斟酌情况，重要的地方全译，多数地方删繁就简，少数地方从略；但是就内容说，没有实质性的削减。本书前半部是根据初印本(1968)翻译的，后半部是根据第二版(1970)翻译的，因为第二版基本上没有什么改动，所以前半部的译稿没有用第二版逐句核对。如果读者觉得有的地方不清楚或可疑，请检阅原书。尤其是引用时要核对。

嘿呀，就如今的前沿研究还是在沿用几十年前赵元任先生的理念和框架啊，尤其是动词部分，大家终究是大家！
