很难的一本书,不推荐初学者阅读
这本书写得很好,不过不适合初学者阅读. 严格的说,这本书我只阅读了一半多一些,其中涉及量子方面的内容并没有看, 但是因为是统计物理课上使用教材,老师又将其中的很多gap都推导了出来, 所以就勉强算做看过了吧. 不过其中的gap的确比较多,对于数理基础不是非常好的人是很不友好的...

a good complement. many fine points made (e.g., in the `notes' section concluding each chapter). not good for building up the `grand picture' though, for which purpose I'd recommend Landau
