Pnin 是身在美帝心在俄。他与俄国有关的过往渗透了他在美国的生活，他在美国的空间里移动，但精神上依旧包裹在俄国的真空里。当他终于决定举办一个暖房聚会，邀请一些并不是那么熟的熟人，开心的公布打算买下这栋房子的决定，可是啊可是，系主任却告诉Pnin他被解雇了。当他终于决定在美国生活的时候，生活却对他关上了门。得知这个消息的Pnin哭了。我也差点要哭了。被生活挤压的我，体内的水分不堪挤压，总是轻而易举... 其实很怕自己最后会不会也变成这个样子，是天真还是单纯还是执着还是傻呢？又或许只是时代的原因？还得在读一遍才能focus在幽默上头；读完第二遍的时候心里堵得慌，然后就彻底爱上Nabokov了；第5章从头到尾检查了一遍翻译，开头的蚂蚁和瞭望台令人惊叹~我也好想知道卡列宁娜的时间序列
