I could see a pretty clear influence from the so-called "oriental" and how this affects Cage's interpretation and theories of making NEW music. "It's not what they do; it's the ardor with which they do it." (p.6) !

不懂易经所以chance operation具体操作实在不懂,不过Cage自己也有非常清醒的对于chance operation/composer之间Monster-Frankenstein关系的批判。至于theatrical experience,有触及到theater fundamental的概念,但个人感觉更多是对概念不够严谨的伸张。

就看不懂,0.9倍行距,行为艺术排版——单词乱七八糟洒在书页上,几乎一半的章节都是通篇大写字母,俺真的CANNOT UNDERSTAND
