When Kitty is called up to London for an engagement on "Grease Paint Avenue, " Nan follows as her dresser and secret lover, and, soon after, dons trousers herself and joins the act.
In time, Kitty breaks her heart, and Nan assumes the guise of butch roue to commence her own thrilling and varied sexual education--a sort of Moll Flanders in drag--finally finding friendship and true love in the most unexpected places.

前1/4、最后1/3比较精彩。中间部分的剧情发展我其实有点不太能接受，而且看得很生气，这部分不仅剧情憋屈，女主的一系列神操作更是气人。结尾有点仓促，部分剧情真的有点离谱，不过如果这本真是作者首作的话，倒也能理解。其中最梦幻的剧情是Kitty向Nancy扔花那段，真的像梦一样，换了是谁都得迷糊。

里面的X描写真是大胆啊！尤其跟Diana那段，太情欲了。作者的写作节奏把握得很好，简直像是专业编剧。一个Tom的蜕变表现得很生动。唯一觉得不满的是她对那么有爱的家人竟然没什么感情。看完书后满眼都是旧时伦敦风情。
