最后读到Liesel在悉尼的Anzac大道上与世长辞的时候，证实了的猜测，这可能是一本做过很多二战调研和当事人采访而写成的书。毕竟是年轻人，写故事花哨的技巧太多干扰阅读。但人物和故事又极度催泪。翻开最后两章的时候，请准备好纸巾。
