As he rises in his business career he whiles away the years in 622 affairs--yet he reserves his heart for Fermina. Her husband dies at last, and Florentino purposefully attends the funeral. Fifty years, nine months, and four days after he first declared his love for Fermina, he will do so again.

It ended as suddenly as it has begun, and the extent of its ravages was never known, not because this was impossible to establish but because one of our most widespread virtues was a certain reticence concerning personal misfortune.

The trivial everyday miseries are hard to handle even oneself, let alone two person or more involved.

I never thought rabbit fomented greed, just because of the ref eyes,i guess. As for the monkeys, and i get that point now.a little extreme attitude towards animals~

I cannot agree more with this kind of attitude towards the death of the closed people, but if u did so ,you will be judged by other person just because you didn’t show your sorrow or your sadness.that thing should be weird, but people just take it for granted.
‘Each man is master of his own death, and all that we can do when the times comes is to help hime die without fear of pain’ I have seen several relatives passed away with regrets and sorrow just because other people hoping they alive no matter how misery they are. I hope i can die in that way in the future.not becuase other people’s wishes just because i wanna without regrets and sorry.

Florentina Ariza
