亨利•尼科尔斯（Henry Nicholls），作家、广播节目主持人，在演化生物学、环境保护及科学史方面颇有研究。长期为《自然》（Nature）、《新科学家》（New Scientist）、《BBC野生生物》（BBC Wildlife)等知名刊物撰稿。著有《熊猫之路》（The Way of Panda)等书。他的头一本书《孤独的乔治》（Lonesome George)就讲述了加拉帕戈斯群岛及全球性保护的故事。从2008年开始，尼克尔斯成为加拉帕戈斯保护基金会半年刊《加拉帕戈斯记事》（Galapagos Matters)的编辑。2002年至2009年，尼克尔斯还任职科学史季刊《奋进》（Endeavour)总编。目前，他已成为《奋进》的编委会成员。
