本来以为会是难啃的资料书，没想到写得这么有趣ww边听凯尔特民谣边读沉浸感极强（特意在读到1916年复活节的章节时放了The Foggy Dew），对爱尔兰拥有了更多元立体的认知：她浪漫的精灵传说、厚重古老的历史；她保守的社会风俗、古怪的饮食习惯……如作者所说因矛盾的气质而迷人。

先不要脸地自己力荐一下！这本书是面向普通读者的，不是学术著作或旅行随笔，而是以有趣的文化现象开始追寻爱尔兰历史和神话的源头，保证不深奥，不浅薄。第一本书，多多关照！

作者专业的东西写得略有些沉重，不是专业的东西又略有些流水。不过还是很有趣的，再把作者写书时没发生的同性婚姻公投加进去，会更有意思。在爱尔兰的时候快到圣诞节，从莫赫悬崖回高威，透过窗口看见家家户户点着灯的圣诞树，独自旅行的体验不能更痛苦！读过这样的书，旅行大概会更慢一些，但也免不了把它当成另一种版本的《孤星指南》去满世界打卡。所以，就那么由着自己的性子上路就好啦！

非常好看！特别喜欢！看的我都已经去查爱尔兰的大学了。。。顺便终于下单了lotr三部曲打算重返一下童年。里面介绍爱尔兰的远古神话、中世纪文学艺术和爱尔兰的政治文化历史的部分，可好看了！邱老师一本正经的冷幽默也深得我心。和《翡翠岛编年》应当一起配合阅读。想去爱尔兰！！

9分的话，感觉有些高了。4星~一口气读完了，很喜欢作者这种亲切随意又隽永的文字，前面部分激灵点会多些，后面的话稍微平了点。前面几部分喜欢。很感谢读者让我第一次了解了爱尔兰，略带保守的国家
