Feeling nostalgic. My big boss borrowed me this book since I mentioned tales from the inner city. Very beautiful landscapes with machines, memories and some random thought or details from a child’s eye. It’s a nice book.

像是前苏联时期的复古机器人 带着强烈的童年怀旧情绪 我喜欢很多场景的细节 比如夜色中的飞雪 被汽车车灯照亮的尾气 恐龙有点跳脱了

系列第一本，故事较零散，但是想象和现实的结合，形成了很独特的世界观。

今天看见电视剧预告片顿时很好奇，花了半天功夫读完了。有点《伴你同行》+《怪奇物语》（但没有怪奇物语那么吵闹）的意思，“过去”成为一个平行世界般的存在，它依然有当下的我们所熟悉的流行文化，但它的时间却流向了另一个方向，面对沉默、未知与巨大的好奇和探索依然是童年的主题。机械风格又让这种探索显得茫然而可怕。

我喜欢尾封上的一句书评 "Incredible painting of sci-fi suburbia will make you wish you were Swedish"，北欧的landscape、童年nostalia、和sci-fi视觉呈现融合在一起，形成了特异风格的艺术。

十分有趣的科幻插画故事集。尤其喜欢双胞胎交换身体的一个小故事，“According to Hakan, their parent never noticed”，不禁笑出了声儿。插画本身也很有特色，有种温柔的硬科幻的感觉。
