By now, it seems clearer that the goal of neoliberalism is the elevation of capital to that of the same level as humanity as capital does not judge. Many peculiarities arise now from that it does not judge so it contradicts human's basic ethic instinct.. Good prose and easy read.

这本书可以划分为三个层次来读。第一是米塞斯、哈耶克等，何以“自发”地共同成为坚定的全球主义者。哈堡解体后他们对帝国内部自由经济的怀念，以及亲身参与的国联的经济项目，如全球数据统计与周期研究等，坚定着他们提出超越国家的全球制度的信念。第二是全球主义者如何应对二十世纪的两大重要敌人，一是国家，二是民主。他们转向法律以保障市场，并将对手指责为经济民族主义，并对民主进行加权设计，来达成他们的核心计划——使经济原则高于政治原则。第三是他们如何与政治家、官僚及商人同气相求，使“单纯”的思想转化为政策或制度设计，实质成为class project的一部分。全球主义者意使经济原则胜过政治原则，绝非是要抛弃掉政治本身，而是将民族国家的政治让渡到超级国家身上。在这样的超级国家，唯一行动的主体将是投资者与公司。
