California Management Review serves as a vehicle of communication between those who study management and those who practice it. We publish articles that are both research-based and address issues of current concern to managers.
CMR emphasizes three areas of critical importance to both practicing managers and academic researchers: Strategy and Organization, Global Competition and Competitiveness, and Business and Public Policy. CMR focuses on contemporary developments in the global economy, strategies for innovation, strategic planning, the management of technology, corporate culture, managing human resources, and business ethics.
CMR´s contributors include management consultants, policy makers, and senior executives as well as business school faculty from across the nation and abroad. Published quarterly by the Haas School of Business at the University of California at Berkeley, CMR's editorial board consists of highly respected scholars from seven of California's schools of business and management - Cal, Stanford, UCLA, USC, U.C. Irvine, U.C. Riverside, and U.C. Davis.
CMR also offers a comprehensive catalog of reprints. Many of its articles are used extensively for university courses, executive programs, and management seminars around the world.
