Most innovations come with a cost.’ 前几章还挺有趣的 介绍了人体设计上的一些小小的缺陷 比如human retina at the back, human throat conveys both food and air, dietary requirements, random mutations of DNA and our immune system of course 但我还是觉得把cognitive bias算作design flaw有些牵强 最后的Epilogue聊了人类进化的未来 挺引人深思的 虽然脑回路有些大

这里的human error主要说的是人体的design flaw. 前4章可读性非常高, 内容丰富, 特别好看(解剖学上不科学的地方, 人体对饮食里的营养素的需要, 基因里大量无用片段, 人类生育器官的不科学之处), 后面2章和epilogue就感觉离题, 开始讲自身免疫疾病, 神经学和认知, 这个感觉算不上是design flaw. Epilogue就完全哲学, 开始讲immortality和scientific optimism, 最后再扯说science如果毁灭了人类是人类最大的flaw, 来扣human error的题, 感觉也是很牵强了. 书的语言风格很随便, 不过居然出现了octopi这样的词...
