As a romance novel, the best part of the story was the progress of the court case and founding of Mr White in the early stage. The romance part was horrifically bad in my personal opinion. The court case and the Mr. White hunt down end up to be not as good as I was hyped up to be.

👍🏽：冬天就是要看甜甜的恋爱文！！不明白为啥豆瓣分数这么低…文风经常会让人联想到fleabag，绝对亮点在epistolary charms，即使是Post-it留言也非常有趣也很甜~ Leon好像深肤色版的Owen Gray…怎么办这么一想非常turn-on了… 👎🏽：Leon的pov里很多人物要看到一定页数才能搞清楚。不相关的情节有点冗长，然后ex情节太gaslighting了实在看不下去。。

真的希望三流快餐言情小说作者有点自知之明，既然就是无脑小言也没深度，就不要消费自己不了解的自闭症/阿斯伯格综合症，不是省略主语的第一人称就代表自闭，读的也太难受了。支线太多又特别无趣，配角人物都不怎么讨喜，就算为了磕糖想看无脑言情这都不是什么好选择。

挺甜的。gaslighting这个梗最近很常见啊，已经连续两次看到了。真的是很难体谅轻易被恋人控制精神虐待的主角，只会看着生气，最接近victim blaming的一种crime。另外英国人对自己的法律系统真有信念，看起来有了restraining order就万事大吉，happy ending。这要是放到芝加哥，那肯定是前男友违法持枪来找家破人亡的结局了。
