Blind Willow, Sleeping Woman

Read through it, love it. His words are so pleasing to read, no matter what language they translated into..

Blind Willow, Sleeping Woman/A “Poor Aunt” Story/ A Folklore for My Generation: A Pre-History of Late-Stage Capitalism/Tony Takitani/A Shinagawa Monkey。 也包括The Year of Spaghetti。

I pictured my friend’s girlfriend, microscopic flies nesting in her ear. Sweet pollen stuck to their tiny legs, they burrow into the warm darkness inside her, sucking up all the juices, laying tiny eggs inside her brain. But you can’t see them, or even hear the sound of their wings.

I’ve had this copy as early as Ms W was still with me, a huge fan of Murakami and Tanya Chua. She loved reading volumes of Japanese fashion magazines and collecting JP editions of Tanya’s. Her favorite was NW, had cried over its pages with Tanya’s playing in her shinny little iPod. Quite unable to let her face go off my mind when reading this one.
