又一本记录如何走出从小耳濡目染深度参与的toxic cult的回忆录 作者当年是WBC主力 各种参与采访 童年就开始抗议同性恋与阵亡士兵葬礼等等 在推特与各种人的骂战与对话中发现教会的矛盾之处 WBC创始人早年是为黑人打官司的平权律师 后来逐渐极端化 尤其恐同 而作者提到产生批判思维 逐渐脱离从小长大的cult的过程往往不是起于核心教条 而是某些日常生活琐事中的自相矛盾 很有趣 作者tedtalk里谈到如何在日益分裂极端的社会进行有效对话的几个原则也很实在：不要预设对方的敌意 多问问题 保持冷静 即使是自己认为天然正确的观点也要充分论证
